Hi, my name is Johanna Jarrett, and I am excited to share that I was recently selected as a debutante in the Cultured Pearls Cotillion sponsored by the Xi Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the Sisters of Ivy Foundation. As a debutante, I will participate in several developmental activities including leadership workshops, formal etiquette seminars, community service projects, etc. to equip me for success in my future endeavors. 

I am a junior in the Advanced Placement Scholars Program at Woodbridge Senior High School where I am also a member of the Black Student Union, NAMI and SAVE. I am also a member of Move Church and the Prince William County chapter of NAACP.  A few fun facts about me is that I love to travel, try new foods and just recently began flying airplanes.

After high school, I plan to attend a four-year university and major in Journalism and Media Broadcasting and minor in Computer Science.  My top school choices are: Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina A&T State University, Stanford University and the University of Virginia. 

I am soliciting your financial support to contribute to the Sisters of Ivy Foundation non-profit organization, which will provides scholarship funding for me and several other students to further their educational endeavors. The more funds that I collect, the larger my scholarship will be and of course it will increase my chances of being crowned as the 2025 Debutante of the Year.
